Result of interspecific crossing

BECVA is the result of a Italian ryegrass crossed with tall fescue and backcrossed several times to the Italian parent. The result is an appearance like an Italian ryegrass with improved characteristics.

Very high DM yield

+8% dry matter was the result of the official Czech testing compared to the LM standard LOLITA.

Top forage quality

With a good disease resistance (rusts) and a high sugar content, BECVA produces forage of very high nutritionnal quality.
