Standing Ability

NITOUCHE has a very high capability to remain standing right up to harvest. This leads to a pea crop whic is very easy to harvest and is a grant for high combiner speeds and low harvest times per ha, which again saves time and money. Even ripening habit reduces harvest losses and the best harvest time can be chosen.

Cooking Quality

NITOUCHE has in the Finnish trials shown very good properties in the cooking trials where more than 97% of the peas were granulated after 1 hours cooking.

Yield in Top

NITOUCHE has yielded almost 4 tonnes of peas per hectare in the Finnish trials 2003-2004. The seed of Nitouche is green and the seed weight around 300 g pr. 1000 seeds.
