Resistance

In the criteria rust and bacterial wilt resistance ZARASTRO differ positive from the rest. This is one of the reasons for the high fodder quality and the high yields.

Yield

ZARASTRO is a summer oriented yield type. Average of 20 local test years in Germany (calculated) gave plus six percent yield !

Use

Due to the high DM yield and strong regrowth ZARASTRO is very suitable for silage use. Zarastro has a very good ground cover, which leaves no space for weed in the pasture. The very good winterhardiness and persistency helps to keep this high ground cover.
