Growth Characteristics

TURGO establishes well and is a high yielding tetraploid Italian ryegrass especially in the 1. cut with a very rapid regrowth aftercutting. Results from Finnish and Danish trials shows the high level of TURGO in terms of fast DM yield and even better in fresh mass yield. The forage quality in terms of digestibility and sugar content are good.

It thrives very well on most kinds and types of soils and goes very well for intercropping.
